6th Annual Chicago Zombie Pub Crawl from pH Productions : April 20, 2013

The pH Comedy Theater presents the sixth annual Chicago Zombie Pub Crawl on Saturday, April 20 from 2:30 – 9 p.m. The hugely popular event once again takes place in Chicago’s Andersonville neighborhood. Once the zombies are registered at The pH Comedy Theater (1515 W. Berwyn), the pub crawl begins with pH Productions sending groups of zombies up and down Clark Street, much to the delight and horror of unsuspecting people. Zombie hordes will be led on multiple routes to the many participating bars and enjoy specially priced cocktails and themed drinks.
Early registration began Friday, March 1 and costs $20. This will be available only via the pH Productions Facebook Page using the “Get Tickets” tab. Advanced registration begins Wednesday, March 20 with $25 tickets and will be available at www.chicagozombiepubcrawl.com. On the day of the crawl, walk up purchases will be $30. Registration includes an event cup, an official Chicago Zombie Pub Crawl T-Shirt, and a free year subscription to Time Out Chicago, the crawl’s media sponsor. The event is an annual fundraiser for pH Productions, the not-for-profit Chicago comedy theater company currently based in its brand new home, The pH Comedy Theater (1515 W. Berwyn Ave).
Since the first Chicago Zombie Pub Crawl (CZPC) in 2008, this event has become one of Chicago’s most highly anticipated spring events. CZPC is based on other successful Zombie Pub Crawls around the United States, specifically Minneapolis. The first CZPC had more than 400 zombies roaming in and out of the most popular bars in Andersonville and grew to about 700 four years later. 2013 promises to resurrect even more zombies as the company is adding more stops on the roster. Regular pub crawl participants like Mary’s Rec Room, Mary’s Attic, Simon’s Tavern, and @mosphere (plus several others) are going to be part of the fun once again this year. There will also be food trucks along the way, as well as other great ways local businesses are pitching in. CZPC will have photo contests with a prize for the winners. Greetings all! Well, it’s that time of year again, and luckily it’s cold enough to do it this year! We may take a stroll to the Christmas Market for a pic in front of the giant tree again this year.
Remember, please keep it low on the blood. Blood on the ice may LOOK cool, but we want to keep the city happy. So far, they like us Zombies during the Holidays better than the drunk, fighting Santas that come every year. LOL!
We are here to have fun and celebrate two awesome things, Zombies and Xmas!

Calling all hordes of the undead! Our time has come and Chicago is our MARK! Bring your best growl! Your snickering snore, your eye-gauging drama and join Dana Hotel and Jason Laws, as we create the first Zombie Hotel Takeover Flashmob.
We have four (4) scare zones in the heart of the city to strike terror on the Living! Each zone is equipped and ready for INVASION. We will march to the hotel as a HORDE of one, covering the downtown area. Once we reach our destination, IT WILL BEGIN!
If you can move to the chorus of “Thriller”, and think you can break it down “Gangnam Style”; Walk in a trance and look cool doing it….
